The Sporting Clays courses consist of  natural stands with a mixture of manual and automatic traps uniquely placed along the choicest ridge of the 1500 acre tract. It offers the sportsman a variety of challenging hillside and high flying shots amid a blaze of wild azaleas and dogwood trees in the spring and brilliant hickory and oaks in the fall. The trail from stand to stand is an inviting walk or golf cart accessible.

Hermitage Farm is also proud to offer South Carolina’s first FITASC course. This European version of sporting clays is a unique discipline that is designed to be fun as well as a true test of wingshooting.

The Skeet field with it’s high and low house is situated on a level plateau that will delight competitors and spectators alike.

The traps situated on the high banks around the ponds offer a high overhead shot and presents the shooter with a unique opportunity to warm up for the hunting seasons with clay birds closely simulating live game.
